Abstract
El Diseño Industrial desde su concepción técnica abarca una gran variedad de campos así como grados de innovación. Esta variedad propia de la disciplina del Diseño Industrial se traduce, según el lenguaje jurídico de la Propiedad Intelectual, en distintos tipos de protección no sólo corresponde vía Diseño Industrial sino también vía Derecho de Patente, de Marcas e incluso al Derecho de Autor. La protección que obtenga un diseño por una de estas figuras no excluye su protección por otra, esto sólo dependerá de que las creaciones que se desean proteger cumplan con los requisitos exigidos por la Ley; la protección de los diseños puede darse de manera acumulada y/o concurrente dentro de la Propiedad Intelectual.

| Resumen en otro Idioma | The industrial design from its technical conception embraces a great diversity of subjects as well as degrees of innovation. This variety which is intrinsic of the discipline of the industrial design is interpreted, according to the legal terms of the Intellectual Property, in different types of protection not only the corresponding one to the industrial design but to the patent rights, brand and even to the author rights. The protection that acquires a design by one of these legal instruments does not exclude its protection by another one, this only will depend that the inventions that are desired to protect fulfil the requirements demanded by Law; the protection of the designs, within the Intellectual Property, can occur in an accumulative and/or concurrent way. |
