Aceptabilidad y consumo de plasma y hemoglobina desecados en dietas para cerdos en iniciación

Abstract
Se realizó un experimento de cafetería para determinar la aceptabilidad y consumo de plasma sanguíneo y hemoglobina desecados en dietas para cerdos en etapa de iniciación. Se
utilizaron 28 cerdos machos castrados, provenientes de cruces entre razas Yorkshire, Landrace, Duroc, Hampshire y Pietrain, con pesos iniciales de 7 + 0.5 kg, alojados por grupos de siete animales, donde se disponían de siete comederos con características similares; ubicados en un diseño experimental en bloques al azar, con cuatro repeticiones y siete tratamientos: un
testigo, tres niveles de plasma desecado (4, 8 y 12%) y tres niveles de hemoglobina (4, 8 y 12%). Durante 35 días, entre las 9:00 y 11:00 horas, se suministraron los tratamientos en forma aleatoria a razón de 500 gramos y agua ad libitum; se recolectó
la información en períodos de cinco minutos. Al final del período de observación se recolectó el alimento dejado para el cálculo
del consumo. No se encontraron limitaciones por aceptabilidad para ninguno de los tratamientos bajo estudio. Sin embargo,
las dietas con niveles de 8 y 12% de plasma sanguíneo, tuvieron una mejor aceptabilidad (235 y 280 visitas en la primera media hora, respectivamente) y un mayor consumo (P<0,05)
por parte de los cerdos (16,7 y 17,3 Kg, respectivamente), siendo los niveles de 8 y 12% de hemoglobina los menos apetecibles
para los cerdos, presentando los menores consumos (P<0,05) (13,3 y 14,4 Kg, respectivamente).

During 35 days, between the 9:00 and 11:00 hours, the treatments were given in randomized form at the rate of 500 grams and water ad libitum ; the information was gathered in periods of five minutes. At the end of the period of observation left food was gathered for the calculation of the consumption. There were not limitations for acceptability for none of the treatments under study. However, the diets with levels of 8 and 12% of SDP had a better acceptability (235 y 280 visits in the first half hour, respectively) and a bigger consumption (16.7 y 17.3 Kg, respectively) by the pigs (P <0.05), being the levels of 8 and 12% of SDH the less tempting ones for the pigs, presenting the smallest consumptions (P <0.05) (13.3 y 14.4 Kg, respectively). |
