| dc.description.abstract | La práctica artística contemporánea asume el reto de expandirse más allá de lo estético, filtrándose a través de los límites entre arte-cultura-vida-sociedad, en procura de una comunicación más efectiva con el entorno. Esta realidad plantea verdaderos retos en los ambientes académicos vinculados con los procesos formativos en el área artística, evidenciado la imperiosa necesidad de abordar el hecho creativo desde un punto de vista heurístico que favorezca el desarrollo de propuestas estéticas sustentadas en la reflexión teórico-crítica sobre los procesos de significación y comunicación implícitos en la dinámica sociocultural cotidiana.
En el caso de la asignatura-taller Expresión Tridimensional II, perteneciente a la Licenciatura en Artes Visuales de la Universidad de Los Andes, la incorporación de la investigación en los distintos momentos del proceso creativo ha permitido establecer una metodología que articula satisfactoriamente la conceptualización y proyección de ideas desde el enfoque crítico y comunicacional asumido por el arte actual. Se exponen aquí cuatro (4) proyectos investigativos-creativos desarrollados bajo la forma de un diálogo crítico con el entorno en sus distintos niveles, desde lo íntimo/individual hasta lo Colectivo/ambiental, concebidos y desarrollados por estudiantes del mencionado Taller durante el período 2012-2013. | es_VE |

| dc.description.abstract1 | The contemporary artistic practice takes on the challenge of expanding beyond what would be called aesthetically pleasing, blurring the lines between art-culture-life-society, in hopes of a more effective communication with the environment. This reality creates significant challenges inside of the academic atmospheres that are associated with the formative processes in the artistic area, shining a light on the urgent necessity to deal with the creative making from a heuristic point of view that favors the development of aesthetic proposals based on the theoretical-critical reflection about the processes of signification and communication that are within the daily sociocultural dynamics. In the case of the subject-workshop Tridimensional Expression II, which is a part of the Visual Arts program at the Universidad de Los Andes, the inclusion of the research within the different moments of the creative process has allowed us to establish a methodology that successfully articulates the conceptualization and projection of the ideas from the critical and communicational approach assumed by contemporary art. Here we see four (4) different research-creative projects developed under the form of a critical dialogue with their surroundings at its different levels, from the intimate/individual to the collective/surroundings, conceived and developed by students from the aforementioned workshop during the 2012-2013 periods. | es_VE |
