dc.description.abstractEl presente artículo se sitúa en las intersecciones entre el arte, la historia y la producción de memoria para investigar desde esa coyuntura epistemológica las narraciones de la nación en el campo artístico del territorio. Los cuestionamientos e impugnaciones que se despliegan en las instalaciones de los creadores sudafricanos Jane Alexander, Berni Searle y Wim Botha discuten los imperativos y las ansiedades de una postura oficial conciliadora que ofrece un panorama metafórico como la mejor herramienta para la reconciliación nacional.es_VE
