| dc.description.abstract | La infl ación es un fenómeno económico, que afecta a todos los sectores de la sociedad, produciendo
disminución en el poder de compra de los ciudadanos y desmejorando su calidad de vida. Desde febrero
de 1983, Venezuela ha mantenido una de las más altas de tasas de infl ación en América Latina. La
productividad es uno de los factores que contribuye a disminuir la infl ación y el sector de la economía
que tiene efectos más inmediatos sobre ella es la Pequeña y Mediana Industria (PyMI). El presente
trabajo tiene como fi nalidad analizar el efecto de la infl ación en la PyMI ubicada en el Municipio
Valera, estado Trujillo, con base a una revisión bibliográfi ca y un estudio de tipo descriptivo con
una muestra del 38% de establecimientos de este sector, en el cual se evidenció que la problemática
planteada esta vinculada a los efectos de la inflación, lo que no le permite crecer y hace que se
mantenga en niveles de subsistencia. | es_VE |

| dc.description.abstract1 | Infl ation is an economic phenomenon that affects all levels of society, resulting in decrease in the
purchasing power of citizens and degrading their quality of life. Since February 1983, Venezuela
has maintained one of the highest infl ation rates in Latin America. Productivity is one of the factors
contributing to lower infl ation and one of the sectors of the economy that has immediate effects on
it is the Small and Medium Industries (SMIs). This paper aims to analyze the effect of infl ation on
the SMI located in the Valera County, Trujillo State in Venezuela, based on a literature review and an
descriptive study of this sector, any indicative of 38% the establishment this sector, which is evidence
that the problem is linked to raised the effects of infl ation, which is not allowed to grow and keeps
