dc.description.abstractLa actividad turística, de acuerdo a su planificación y desarrollo, contribuye a erradicar la pobreza y a elevar la calidad de vida, especialmente de las comunidades receptoras. El turismo tiene el potencial para promover el crecimiento económico y la inversión a nivel local, lo cual a su vez se traduce en oportunidades de empleo, en distribución de rentas, y en impulso de otras actividades como la agricultura, la pesca y la artesanía, en las localidades receptoras. De esta forma dicha actividad incide en la generación del PIB, balanza de pagos, y demás indicadores macroeconómicos de muchos países. El turismo, actualmente, desempaña un rol clave, por su impacto positivo, en el desarrollo integral de las comunidades a nivel local, ello explica el interés demostrado por la Organización Mundial del Turismo (OMT) en sus Conferencias y Asambleas Mundiales en fomentar el turismo como instrumento importante para la paz y el entendimiento mundial, el desarrollo económico y el comercio internacional. Una de las actividades económicas alternas para Venezuela es la actividad turística, gracias a sus inmensas potencialidades naturales y a la multiplicidad de beneficios que reporta la actividad, y que junto con la actividad agropecuaria, manufacturera y otras, impulsa la generación de empleo y la distribución de renta. Con el ánimo de contribuir a impulsar y planificar adecuadamente la actividad turística como actividad económica, social y cultural, se considera necesario la creación de un grupo de investigación que aglutine variedad de líneas de investigación alrededor del área turística, como un espacio para estimular el análisis crítico y reflexivo de la actividad, mostrando resultados en forma de productos científicos de interés para organismos públicos y privados encargados de planificar, coordinar y controlar tan importante actividad.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1The tourist activity, according to its planning and development, contributes to eradicate the poverty and to elevate the quality of life, especially of the communities receptoras. The tourism has the potential to promote the economic growth and the investment at local level, that which in turn is translated in employment opportunities, in distribution of rents, and in impulse of other activities like the agriculture, the fishing and the craft, in the towns receptoras. This way this activity it impacts in the generation of the GDP, balance of payments, and other macroeconomic indicators of many countries. The tourism, at the moment, desempaña a key list, for its positive impact, in the integral development of the communities at local level, explains to it the interest demonstrated by the World Tourism organization (OMT) in its Conferences and World Assemblies in fomenting the tourism like important instrument for the peace and the world understanding, the economic development and the international trade. One of the alternating economic activities for Venezuela is the tourist activity, thanks to their immense natural potentialities and to the multiplicity of benefits that reports the activity, and that together with the agricultural activity, manufacturer and other, it impels the employment generation and the rent distribution. With the spirit of contributing to impel and to plan the tourist activity appropriately as economic, social and cultural activity, it is considered necessary the creation of an investigation group that agglutinates variety of investigation lines around the tourist area, as a space to stimulate the critical and reflexive analysis of the activity, showing results in form of scientific products of interest for public and private organisms in charge of planning, to coordinate and to control so important activity.es_VE
