| dc.description.abstract | El objetivo del presente trabajo, es conocer y valorar la escultura y estatuaria como
elemento básico de la historia cultural tachirense, panificando criterios metódicos,
basados en la necesidad de salvaguardar los bienes monumentales o conmemorativos.
Aquí, se presenta la secuencia histórico-artística de las primeras esculturas y estatuas
que se erigieron en el estado Táchira entre 1826 y 1930, destacando entre ellas, la
estatua pedestre de El Libertador, que se encuentra, desde 1956, en la plaza Bolívar de
la población de Lobatera, Municipio Lobatera del estado Táchira, y cuya historia se
inicia con la Exposición Mundial de Chicago o Exposición Colombina (World's
Columbian Exposition), en Chicago-Illinois (Estados Unidos) en 1893. | es_VE |

| dc.description.abstract1 | The objective of the present work, is to know and appreciate the sculpture and statuary
as the basic element of the ruler cultural history, planning methodical criteria, based on
the need to safeguard the monumental or commemorative goods. Here, is the artistic
sequence of the first sculptures and statues that were erected in the Tachira state
between 1826 and 1930, emphasizing among them, the pedestrian statue of the liberator,
which is, since 1956, in the plaza Bolivar Lobatera, Lobatera municipality of the
Tachira State population, and whose history begins with the World Exposition in
Chicago or Columbian Exposition (World's Columbian Exposition), in Chicago (United
