dc.description.abstractLa era clásica musulmana discurrió ardorosamente sobre la relación entre conocimiento religioso y conocimiento racional, y el ser divino. Avicena (980-1037) aportó argumentos que infl uyeron en el Islam, suscitando discusiones y rechazos, principalmente de Al Ghazali (1058-1111), en su obra La incoherencia de los fi lósofos, contestada después por Averroes (1126-1198) en su obra La incoherencia de la incoherencia, en la que discutió y rebatió argumentos de Al Ghazali. Se resaltan aquí varias ideas de estos tres pensadores que pueden aún iluminar el pensamiento contemporáneo en el tema del conocimiento racional y el conocimiento religioso, y su relación con la idea de Dios.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1Muslim classic era disputed heatedly about the relation between religious knowledge, rational knowledge, and divine being. Avicenna (980-1037) contributed with arguments which infl uenced Islam, and provoked discussions and refutations, mainly from Al Ghazali (1058-1111), in his work Th e incoherence of the philosophers, which was answered alter by Averroës (1126-1198) in his work Th e incoherence of the incoherence, which discussed and refuted the arguments of Al Ghazali. Many ideas of these three thinkers that are outlined in this paper can still illuminate contemporary thought in the theme of racional knowledge and religious knowledge, and the relation of both with the idea of God.es_VE
