The Institute of Geography and Conservation of the Natural Resources (IGCRN) is an agency appointed to the Faculty of Forestry Sciences and Environment of the University of the Andes.
The IGCRN realizes investigations and assists in areas related to:
- Territorial codes,
- Plans of urban and local development,
- Management of river basins and conservation of natural resources,
- Studies on the environment and biodiversity,
- Natural risks,
- Study of the land,
- Urban and rural geography.
