CURSO DE COMPUTACIÓN GRÁFICA Y VISUALIZACIÓN
PROF. EDWARD ANGEL
COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTAMENT
UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO
(25 al 28 de Junio) 20horas
This course will present a high level overview of computer graphics and visualization. The three major objectives are to introduce the basic ideas and methods underlying modern graphics and visualization hardware and software, to give participants an idea of what types of problems can be solved with computer graphics and visualization, and to give users the programming background to develop their own applications using a modern graphics programming interface. The course will consist of both lectures and laboratory sessions. We will start with a review of the basic concepts underlying imaging systems and then proceed to topics of current interest. The course will use OpenGL application programmer's interface to develop graphics code.
