Abstract

We investigate the magnon modes in the neighbourhood of the interface between a ferromagnet and an antiferromagnet. The system is one-dimensional and it is characterized by three parameters -J_F, J_A, and J₀ which describe the exchange couplings in the ferromagnet, the antiferromagnet, and across the interface itself. We study the nature of the interface magnons as a function of these parameters.
